Dandelion, AKA “Dee” or “Little Dee”, is a personality in a small body.  She is a young girl with a loving playful heart.  She is good with everyone she meets and tries really hard to keep up with the big dogs.  She loves to cuddle in your lap and get some snuggles.  “Dee” walks well on leash and looks at you when you talk to her.  She also has the heart of a warrior.  After being hit by a car,  “Dee” has a permanently injured rear foot and disabled leg.  That does not stop her – she runs, plays, and loves to romp with the other dogs and her human.  Her injury needs to be monitored and cared for – thus, she would be a wonderful candidate for fostering in a home where she can get closer attention.  It is best that she walk only on soft surfaces like grass or sand so as not to re-injure her foot.  A fenced yard would be great so she can get out and romp to exercise her leg (which has gotten better since first arriving at the shelter).  This girl would be a really happy addition to a fun loving household.
